The Failure mode template defines how to represent definition of a Failure mode. Failure mode is an identification of a mechanism in which a product may fail.

The SysML Block Definition diagram in Figure 1 shows how a state is represented in the PLCS PSM.

Indicates whether the fault mode is authorized to use. Approved values are: föreslagen felmode (proposed); fastställd felmode (confirmed); historisk felmode (historical).
