The Item Individual DEX enables the exchange of agreed information related to individual, including a unique identifier within the series produces, what item (part definition or item of supply) it is based on, as well as other information around the individual and its configuration. By following up physical assets (or tangible like software), individually it is possible to track and communicate information such as performed maintenance, using the Performed Maintenance DEX, and operational properties like meter readings and fault, using the Operational Data DEX. An Item of Supply Individual can be both the top supply item or a contained component that is managed individually.
