DEX: Technical Publication DEX - Business Information Model

The Technical Publication DEX: Business overview section provided a high level overview of the business information that can be represented by this DEX. This section provides a more detailed overview of that information. A description of how to represent this information using ISO 10303-239 PLCS is provided in Technical Publication DEX: PLCS PSM Representation.

NOTE The information shown in the SysML Block Definition diagram in Figure 3 is intended to illustrate the type of information that can be represented by the DEX. It does not imply that all exchanges must contain all this information.

NOTE The information shown in the SysML Block Definition diagram in Figure 45 is intended to illustrate the Information needed to exchange Technical Publication data using this DEX.

InfoElementInPublication

A description of how to represent the relationship between a publication edition and an information element.

ItemDefinition

An abstract template subtyped into either an ItemOfSupply (used for materiel that has an identifier owned by the Swedish Defence) or a PartDefinition (typically materiel that has only the supplier's or manufacturer's part number as identifier). There are traditionally five categories of ItemDefinition: Materiel; Ammunition; Food; Fuel, Medical supply.

ItemOfSupplyDefinition

An item definition that is a formal item of supply for the Swedish Defence, i.e. it has an identifier owned by the Swedish Defence.

Attribute	Description
itemOfSupplyId	Identification of the item of supply stipulated by the Swedish defence materiel administration (FMV).
itemOfSupplyName	Denomination for the item of supply stipulated by the Swedish defence materiel administration (FMV).
suppliersItem	Relationship to the supplier's or manufacturer's part definition for the item of supply.

PartDefinition

An item that is a part.

Attribute	Description
externalPublication	The part definition that constitutes an external publication.
referenceDesignatorCode	undefined
suppliedBy	Relationship to the external actor that is the supplier or manufacturer of the part.
suppliersPartId	The supplier's or manufacturer's identifier for the part.
suppliersPartName	The part name used by the supplier or manufacturer. Term 339.
suppliersPartVersionId	Version identifier.

Publication

A specific version of a Publication.

defencePublication	The item of supply that constitutes a defence publication.
externalPublication	The part definition that constitutes an external publication.
publicationCategory	The category into which the publication falls.
publicationConcernsEndItem	The item definition which the publication concerns.
publicationCreatedBy	The organization or person in organization that created the publication edition.
publicationDate	Date of publication of the edition
publicationDescription	Description of the contents of the publication.
publicationEditionId	Identifier of a specific version of a publication.
publicationEditionLanguageCode	The language in which the content is expressed. Language code according to ISO 639-2 and country code as specified in ISO 3166-1.
publicationEditionSecurityClassification	Security level.
publicationId	Identifier of the publication.
publicationStatus	Status of the publication.
publicationTitle	Title of the publication.
